If you are looking to migrate to Australia via the Australia skilled migration pathway, then depending on the visa you are applying for, you would need your occupation to fall under one of two lists.
Formerly know as the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) and Consolidated Sponsored Occupations List (CSOL)
, they have now been revised and updated into the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL).
I encourage you to refer to the actual lists on the Federal Register of Legislation website as there may be changed to them by the time you read this article.
The format the lists are in, although easily understood by migration agents, legal professionals and the like, can be a bit confusing so we have simplified them.
