If you are looking to migrate to Australia via the Australia skilled migration pathway, then depending on the visa you are applying for, you would need your occupation to fall under one of three lists.
This article goes through the Regional Occupation List, where all occupations are shown below.
I encourage you to refer to the actual lists on the Federal Register of Legislation website as there may be changed to them by the time you read this article.
The format the lists are in
, although easily understood by migration agents, legal professionals and the like, can be a bit confusing so we have simplified them.

I’m a overseas dentist. Is there any capability to get PR through skilled migrant visa, because dentist has mentioned in Regional occupational list and also i have relatives in Australia .
If your occupation is on the regional list then you can only apply for the subclass 491
